PDC Poker
Room Features
PDC Poker offers its players
many features to keep things interesting. These
features help make PDC poker a fun, and exciting
online poker room. PDC
offers a lot so you
may find this a little long but it is well worth
reading the entire page.
Bad Beat Jackpot
Every now and then in
poker you run into an awesome hand only to be
beaten by someone with an even better hand.
These bad beats hurt, but PDC Poker's Bad Beat
Jackpot helps to ease the pain.
In any Texas Holdem game,
when you're holding quads or a straight flush,
you're looking to get paid off big time and the
temptation to go all in is automatic. But what
happens if your opponent is holding even higher
quads or a better straight flush?
Such bad beats usually result
in entire chip stacks being passed over the
table. However the Bad Beat Jackpot will allow
you to win thousands and thousands of dollars in
cash all for losing a hand.
On specially listed Bad Beat
Holdem ring game tables, PDC collects 50 cents
from each pot to contribute to the Bad Beat
Jackpot. When a massive hand is beaten the
jackpot is won with all active players at the
table winning loads of cash!
Caribbean Stud Jackpot
The Caribbean Stud Jackpot
builds with each hand you play. When at the
table, in addition to your normal bet against
the dealer, you can also play for the jackpot.
Depending on the stakes you play you can either
play for the 20 cent jackpot or the $1 jackpot.
Just hit the jackpot checkbox located bottom
right of the screen in the game.
The jackpot payout table
shows the winning hands and prizes for those
winning hands. The Caribbean Stud jackpot has
been hit several times in the past year. So get
playing now to win!

Time Bank
Time bank is pretty
much just as its name suggests - a bank of time.
It allows you some extra time during those
moments when a tough decision is forced upon
you.
In ring games time is accrued
as you play up until the maximum has been stored
in your Timebank. In tournament games the
Timebank is set at a certain amount depending on
the type of tournament. When a player's allotted
15 seconds are almost up, the Timebank option
will be displayed up upon the betting bar. To
active the Timebank and use your extra time you
simply click the button.
Deal It Twice
As the name suggests
deal it twice is a feature that allows you to
deal the cards twice. It is a feature that
continues to increase in popularity in live cash
games, and brings a whole new dynamic to the
game.
When two players are all in
there will be the option to deal the turn and
river cards twice. Both players must consent; if
one does not, then the turn and river will be
dealt as normal.
Comp Points
Comp points are earned
for every hand you play in real money games. The
amount you earn depends on the stakes you are
playing. Higher stakes games will earn you more
comp points than micro limit games. Comp points
are based upon rake and in tournaments players
are awarded a fixed comp point amount.
Double Comp Points
You can earn double
comp points just by starting a table. Just sit
down at an empty table and wait for the action
to come to you.
- Comp points are used for
a number of purposes at PDC Poker,
including:
- Tracking your
eligibility requirements to earn sign up
bonuses, reload bonuses and freeroll
tournament coupons.
- Running totals are used
to evaluate eligibility for exclusive offers
and special player's clubs.
- Make purchases in the
comp point's store.
- Enter into free roll
tournaments.
- Win free cash in monthly
promotions
You can check and keep track
of the amount of comp points you have by looking
in your player admin.
Quick Start
PDC Poker takes the
hassle out of searching for a game with its
quick start feature. The quick start feature is
located on the right hand side of the screen. As
soon as you have logged in just fill out the
required fields - Game Type, Table Type, Stakes,
Minimum Players and click play now. You will
instantly be taken to a game that matches your
criteria.
Rabbit Hunt
Whenever you fold your
hand you are left wondering what your opponent
won with, or what cards would have fallen on the
turn or river. PDC's Rabbit feature allows the
hand to be played out even if it has been won.
The winner of the hand has
the option of letting the hand play out. By
clicking the Rabbit checkbox, any remaining
cards will be dealt for all to see, and the
winners hand will be displayed.
This is a great way to show
your opponents your bluff or that they were
truly beat. The only downside is that they get
to see your hole cards. But either way the
choice is yours to make.
Multiple Windows
By using the multiple
windows feature that can be found in the
settings, you can display up to 4 games in a 2x2
grid.
It's the perfect aid for
playing multiple ring games, a daily freeroll
and a even a game of blackjack without having to
switch between windows.

Expose one card
One of the best ways
to keep your opponents on their toes is to make
use of PDC's expose one card feature.
Many poker rooms allow a
player to show both of their hole cards, but PDC
takes it to the next level and gives you the
option of exposing both or just one.
By showing just one card you
are able to openly display how you play the game
to your opponents often lulling them into false
assumptions of your playing style.
Player Accolades
If you win a
tournament or event at PDC Poker they reward you
with accolades. Customized ribbons or trophies
are placed in your player box for all players to
view.
For our regular tournaments
the accolades are basic ribbons and trophies
however if you win a special event or a big
tournament you receive a special accolade unique
to the event you won.
You will also notice that a
lot of players are sporting stars in their
player boxes. These stars are also accolades and
are awarded for regular play. The more you play,
the more stars you get, so when you sit down at
the table with your player box loaded with stars
and a nice fancy accolade, you are going to get
some respect.
Smilies
PDC poker brings animation
to its games.
At the table, you can type
all manner of words to activate cool little
animations and emoticons. There is also a huge
range of panda smilies now available as well.
There are loads of emoticons
hidden, and PDC is always sneaking in new ones.
Try typing some of your favorite words and see
if they come to life.

Player Tag
Use PDC Poker's tag
feature so that if you run into them at the
tables again you have an idea of how to play
them.
To tag a player while at the
tables simply click on a player and choose a tag
icon. You can also type notes on the player and
even choose whether you want to see this players
table chat or not.
